BatteryShare for your computer

A Chrome extension for Windows laptops, MacBooks and Chromebooks. Your computer's battery shows up in the BatteryShare app next to your phone, watch and earbuds, and the extension shows all your devices from the Chrome toolbar.

Then pin BatteryShare from the puzzle icon and sign in with the same Google account as the app. Works in Chrome, Edge and Brave.

Download the extension

Unzip batteryshare-chrome.zip into a folder you'll keep (Chrome loads it from there).
In Chrome, open chrome://extensions and switch on Developer mode (top right).
Click Load unpacked and choose the unzipped folder.
Click the puzzle icon in the toolbar and pin BatteryShare.
Open it and Sign in with Google using the same account as the BatteryShare app.

It also works in Microsoft Edge and Brave (edge://extensions, brave://extensions). It updates your battery every 5 minutes while the browser is open; when the computer sleeps, the app shows it as offline.

The extension only reads the battery level, charging state and time left, and stores them in your BatteryShare account. See the privacy policy.
